genetic modification happens well before the dog is born, so i doubt he was like a lab mouse. im sure he is being taken care of properly.


this is amazing, in the past five hundred years we went from inventing the printing press to modifying specific areas of the genome in a cloned animal to so exactly what we want them to do.

Eh, I have seen plenty of animals that are used humanely for science but are still treated like ----- if that dog sleeps in a crate overnight and has to eat kibble and gets one walk a day it is lucky, but still mistreated. I feed my dog raw rabbit 2x a day, walk him once and take him to the dog park every morning no matter what, and he loves his life. And Dogs are one of the few animals I cannot stand to see treated badly, thats why this bothers me
