Grind plate opinions

Hello every one. I wanted to know what peoples thoughts would be on an alumunim grind plate that my friend and I are going to make for the promodel within this spring. It would cover the entire bottom of the scooter and make breaking scooters a thing of the past for the most part. So im open to any opinion out there.

I got myself banned.
Grinding a waxed ledge still grinds the aluminum down... I say put them plasic grind things that used to be on old ass skateboards on there. Im not sure how plastic slides on ledges though.

yea brian thats what I do you dont have to wax curbs with the old school plastic grind things for skateboards anything that is unwaxed will slide which means less time waxing try them out

Haha yeah the grindplate would be wider and longer than the deck, not to mention it'd probably slide while going straight much less turning.

im making a delrin grind plate in a day or so when i get the stuff so u can easily grind any unwaxed ledge only weighs like 1/2 a pound

i think it would just weigh it down, but i dont know...

oww from 4 lbs to 6 owwww

but ya a knowped grind plate cut down to fit a razor or micro would be sick it would make it a bit stronger/heavier but who cares about 1 pound and we could slide enything easyly
