Jump onto rail.

Once on rail, maintain your balance left or right.

Lean back, you will go faster, lean forward you slow down.

Practice your ass off.

Um yeah the way I learned (its one of the two tricks I can do lol) was just jumping on the last four inches and then going out farther and farthere till I could go the whole thing.

way to go josh gummersalt you made the page really wide . oh well !lol

edit . just go little by little bit on the rail . grind a little then grind alot . go fast .make sure it slides . dont over wax the rail. dont lean back words or fowards . you dont want to fall back or slip foward . and try to keep your self balenced . good luck

This is the best way to practice, it builds confidence really well.

Now, I agree with defect, I'm always kissing the rail, but there's nothing better than having a clean grind going on, & then when you've got the hang of that you can try to do tricks on & off of it.

if u use ur heels to keep balance dont. in my perspective i think there is no point to grinding with heel. personally i have done them like that in the past. but i cleaned them up... a way to prevent ur heels from touching is riding ski, which i do... just keep pratcing.

I think old A's are harder to grind than old B's, but I don't know, it just seems it'd make sense.

And DON'T use your heels, like Addy said, it sucks.

thats a crapy ass way to prevent ur heels from touching while grinding if u dont stand ski thats what u did u rode regular until u met kevin and u thought u would be good so u rode that was and another was u switched to ski is becasue ur heels dont touch, why switch ur stance for one trick.
