Is it safe to spray paint the griptape or it causes some damage to it?

Just don't go crazy with the spraypaint, and then it will just be a waste of grip and spray.

Yea all you need to do, is not be a moron about it. Jes spray one light coat on the griptape, and it should be fine.

yeah, i put stencils on alot of my scoots and as long as you do a light coat (should dry in about 5 min) it will be fine.

griptape isnt usually very good after about 1-2 months...

actually the quailty of the colored grip isnt as good as say jessup. but im riding some sweet neon green griptape right now.. it doesnt matter to much as long as its not completely gone.. either that or u suck at catching whips, etc.

The quality is lower on colored grips. But it shouldn't matter when you are riding and catching whips and stuff, unless you bought it somewhere that are really cheap and you didn't realize that they sprayed it.

i buy like 2 sheets of griptape a year and its a lot, 1 sheet is like 5 full deck peices

its 4. i just fold mine up in half, then fold that in half the other way and cut it and it gives u 4 complete decks..if there fully gripped, its just enough

I don't fully grip mine. I usually do 3/4 deck grip, and that's for a new a deck.

today i made a stencil for spraying my grips out of cardboard and i totally fucked my grip. paint got all over the whole thing. luckily i had a spare deck and some extra griptape. note to self: do not spray grip tape anymore. oh well i proly did it wrong.

most of the time you can pull the grip tape off of your deck if you work at it and then put fresh tape on

wow someone sucks at stencils...keep the can about 8" away from the surface and only spray a light coat, but enough that its visible, should take you like 10 seconds depending on the size of the stencil
