Head Tube Angle Question

I haven't rode an 83 degree head tube angle since one of the first batches of TSI if they were 83, but i didn't like the feel of that at all and had to switch to 82.5 and have been repping it ever since.

My lindworm is on its last breath and I have been hyped on getting the pandemonium, but the only thing that turned me off was the 83 head tube angle.

I was wondering if the 83 degree is a big switch, what it feels like, benefits, etc.

its light so it will not have such a huge effect, if you dont run overbuilt parts. make sure you have matching parts in weight, strength and that wont be an issue.

plus before anyone else says it, its 0.5 a degree. that matters, when you are looking for stars. need i say more

when i switched from 82.5 to 83, i literally didnt feel any difference

if anything, the bars feel a tiny bit less on your lap and thats about it

83 is so much better.
I noticed my deck stays underneath me with whips a lot easier, I think it makes a difference if you're riding a longer deck.

im running 18x24 buffs, proto scs, with a phase fork so im hoping its fairly balanced already and wouldnt have too much problems then.

and wouldn't the bars being forward a little more be slightly awkward for whips etc?
im just concerned that since im so accustomed to the 82.5 im not gonna be able to ride the 83 haha

and i ride mostly flat ground so if i were to get the 22 pandemonium, or a longer deck in general, i feel like it wouldnt benefit me much.

ill be honest, that deck will break much quicker thanks to that setup.

If youre running Buffs and a full size Proto it sounds like your setup would be fairly top heavy for such a light deck.
Na I found that 82.5 was too far back and the deck tended to whip forwards, it took me a little while to get used to a longer deck with an 83 hta but id never go back to 82.5 or shorter decks now. I don't ride flat very often, so for me an 83 hta and a long deck suit me, if youre riding mostly flat id say get a shorter deck.

When i switched from a pro model to the first lucky deck it was sooooo awkward and i had a hard time adjusting. But thats a much bigger difference than 82.5 to 83. It may be uncomfortable but youll get used to it. I dont recomend a long ass deck for flat riding doe.
