If you dont mind ruining the stock headset, vicegrips+hammer works fine, you auctually wont ruin it if you dont smack it in the wrong place.

ya david i remember us all sitting there tryin o do it.haha.i screwed mine up so bad.kept smashing the fork on a curb and it ent so much that when it came out it wouldn't pop off.
then i just beat it so much i broke off every last piece and it worked.lol
