Headset Problem

So i went to take off my FSA pig headset today, and the compression ring is soo dug down, that its impossible to take off my headset, i need to know a way to get it out...

1.take your scooter
2.grab it buy the deck with no bars on.
3. turn it up side down.
4. hit it on the ground.
5. keep going until your done.

Mine always does that, take a piece of wood put it over your fork and tap it with a hammer, without the fork touching the ground.

omg lol your supposed to hit it in the little spot between the compression ring and the dust cap,get a knife put it in the little spot and hit with a hammer all around and it should just fall of after a little while

If this ever happens to you, you did not assemble your headset correctly. The dust cap goes on AFTER the compression ring...

With FSA Pig headsets, being unsealed, the compression ring goes into the tapered part of the top cap/dust cap, so he did assemble it right.

my fork race is also stuck on my phoenix phorx

once you get your fork off use a hammer and a flat head screw driver and hammer the side of it. To get it on use oversized bars to slam down on it.
Phorx are a bitch to get fork races on and off.

take a flat head screwdriver and slowly pry it off thats what i had to do
