if it doesnt spin fast with it tightened , it isnt lube properely.

you can lube it as much as you want, it will probably spin slow if its tight

get a bmx headset, tehy are a whole lot smoother and still spin good when theyre tight

Dont tighten it all the way so it spins good, but tight enough so it doesnt wobble, you just have to find that sweet spot. Or you can take out your bearing cage, and soak them in some 3 in 1 oil or gasoline, dry them off then put them back in and jjust find that sweet spot like i already said.

also, you should check the headset cause i got mine adjusted at a bike shop and now it is as tight as it gets and still spins great.

just mess around with it, maybe use madis's(i think it was) idea on the whole bolt and washers thingy to make sure they are level/parallel.

i hope you understand what i mean.

mines a threaded headset, i just think that madis's idea would work for it.

mines stock and i got it adjusted and now it spins great.
