Yes it is much better, it almost gets rid of all the play u get in a stock headset, and is 10x stronger and smoother, its not really much faster that a stock headset, but the smoothness of it makes up 4 the slight loss in speed....if u want to get a headset id recommenced getting a cane creek S-3, or S-1...but if u r on a budget u can get a FSA pig headset either sealed or non-sealed, the FSA' start from 30-40, and Cane Creek From 60 and up.......right now i am using the FSA pic unsealed headset, and i love it id recommend it to u, but it also depends how hard u r on your scoot!!....i hope this helped, Srry about the long story about a headset, i like talking about parts alot!! :)

wrong, cane creek headsets do not start at 60. cane creek s-1's start at around $35. cane creek aheadset is only $20. pricepoint.com has cane creek s-3's for $35.
