headsets

heyy,

im getting a inward 0 ofset fork threaded and i know i can use a stock headset but, i rang my local bike shop and they said they have threaded headset but theres no good ones, and my mate said you can you a threadles headset on a threadfork? and i saw on a bike website that they have sealed headsets what are they?

the bearings in sealed headsets are basiccly a bigger wheel bearing. unsealed is the same bearings in a stock scooter headset.... you can get a threadless headset but you need too use the nut that goes on top of your stock headset.

so i can use a threadless headset on a threadfork if i se the top nut from the headset, and with a unsealed headset can you use the full thing on a inward fork

yup, shouldnt see a problem, youl just have to use a stock headset bolt above it to keep it tight, or get ICS
