Heelwhips

Whenever I try to heelwhip, the deck lands like 6 inches away from my heels. I whip it as fast as I can but can't land on it. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Any tips?

have only your toes on your deck, jump high and USE YOUR HANDS! unlike tailwhips you use your hand ALOT, because your legs cant extend as far out in that direction, just learned them so thats what i did.

USE YOUR BRAKE. The brake isn't just for stopping. Really use your back foot to push against the side of it and kick it out there.

Oh, yeah, I meant for learning them. I can get them like 100% with brake kick, and like 75% without.

word, and double heels are sooo much easier with the brake kick.

also like what you did to learn tailwhips...just stand there spinning the deck, but this time in heelwhip direction. that'll help

Use your toes. Kick the deck out and use your wrist to pull it back. Suck your legs up and wait for the deck. and don't be scuredd.
