Help SCS - Fork issue

I have an Urbanartt Trail deck, Tilt SCS, Grit Fork and JD bars. If I tighten the bolt on the fork even remotely tight, the forks completely stops spinning, making it impossible to ride. If I don't tighten the fork much, everything spins great but there is noticeable play and annoying noise. I tried everything from lubricating the bearings to placing a spacer, nothing helped. Help?

take of the topcap of your headset. i guess it gets pressed against the headtube if you tighten your scs up. You can also use a compression ring with a higher rise or put some small spacers between the compression ring and the topcap.
