ok, my friend is giving me his [ Micro ] -thats what the deck says. is that the off brand or is it the real micro?

Go to the Micro site and look at the different Micro scooters. It might be better if you ask at the Micro forum because I think most people there ride Micros. Never been to their forum but just suggesting to you.

If he is going to give it to you , take it. Fake Micro is still a scooter.

Its probably a huffy micro since you live in the US. They are the same as old a models except the deck is pretty long. They bend after so much abuse, mine scrapes the ground when i turn with it.
