I am using the lucky hic kit on a scorcher with a Cane Creek S-3 with rad crows and a proto half knuckle clamp. I put the shim on and tighten it as much as it goes and it wont tighten any more the headset still wobbles a ton and the shim spins if you touch.
PLEASE HELP

either check to see if the forktube it too long. and make sure the crownrace is on. its not the starnut before someone says that the star nut isnt in deep enough, check to see if the starnut is broken though.

how long should the forktube be?

It should be shorter than your shim.

1.5 inches (sticking out passed the headset) is usually good sized. how big is the shim?

its about 1.5 inches longer than the headset the shim is about 1mm longer than the fork.

oh thats why than you need to cut your fork down

you don't need to cut the fork down just put a spacer on before the shim to raise it up. That's what I did.

yeah just use spacers, i needed like 3 but it works now

it's a shim, the strength really doesn't matter...
