HIC loose

Ok. I just got HIC and I installed the starnut into my forks and I put my HIC shim and top cap and bolt on and tightened it up. After I couldn't tighten it anymore, my forks and headset were still wobbly. I put my bars on and then tighten my clamp and still wobble and its very undialed. help.

Yeah just enough room to put my top cap on.

Smallest size would work. I think they come in 2 mm or 5 mm. Basically it doesn't compress anymore because you fork is going higher than the shim.

The shim goes higher just enough that the top cap sit on it.

that shim is too small, so yes you will need probably like a 5mm spacer

just make a longer shim, leave like 3-5mm extra space from the fork to the top of the shim. It needs space to pull the two together to compress your headset.

alright guys i got the spacer and its solid but when i ride my forks move to the side and become crooked.
