HIC or... SCS

I have the new MGP nitro extreme but the new hic system they used is so sh*t. i dont know whether to get the old hic system used on the normal nitro/ninja or get a proto scs. please help, i want my scooter to be dialed and btw... do hic bars fit into proto scs.

hic bars fit into the NORMAL size proto scs. not the baby or any of the phoenix scs's. so. yes hic bars fit in the normal scs but im not to familiar with the new nitro compression.

Haha Yeah go with SCS, you can chuck them batwings straight into the scs as soon as you take the shim out.

the internal threading is better than the rest, the headset is the problem, take off the top cap of headset then reinstall with locktite in thread and done

get an scs or put blu tack in ur hic to keep the bolts tite

No point making a new thread for me, but I might get a proto scs soon. How much higher maintenance are they than HIC? How often should I be greasing my bolts, and is is easy to get dialed? The reason I want to switch is because I don't want the slits in my crows breaking, and I like my scooter beefy as hell.

Super easy to get it dialled, my scooter makes a basketball sound like a tin of rocks

Super easy to get dialed. Just don't tighten the bolts like a jackass and grease your bolts every few months or whenever you are lubing your headset. If you don't break or ruin your HIC clamp, you'll do fine with SCS

Get a Proto Full size SCS. i switched from HIC to it and it was the greatest thing ever, so simple and everything.

Personally I prefer SCS. That's just me. HIC is cool, but I like SCS and would recommend it to anyone.
