HIC question

Ok so im sick of my slits on my bars snapping so would this work

Because MGP buff bars are oversized and you need oversized to run HIC, would cutting the bottom of the mgp bars off and welding them to some one piece bars and use hic work?

Sorry if this is nooby im not the mechanical type person.

uhh.. I'm confused at what you're trying to do... link / pic of the MGP buffs?
Are they oversized out AND inside? to accommodate the shim? or are they thick like old buff aluminum steerertubes? or do they fit right onto forks?

Are you trying to weld a standard sized tube to it? or an oversized taper like on some RAD bars? im confused.

I've never ridden these bars

They fit right onto the forks with no shim but you need an oversizd clamp so it would be oversized on the outside...? i think


i dont think it will work now that i think of it.

if you can't fit a shim inside the bars, it wont work.

NO it won't.
Sure thoughs mad bars are OVERSIZED doesn't mean they will fit HIC, just like most Alu bars they have a thicker wall which means there is no room to accomidate an internal shim.

You better off cutting those bars at the crack and riding them lower or just buy new bars.
