Is it possible, im in need of some new bars but in the future im looking to moving to threadless, but i dont wanna have to buy two different sets of bars or scs.

So im currently wondering if it is possible to use HIC on threaded forks?

yes, it should work. You might need to waste a starnut though cause the shim might not stay in place without the compression cap.

why would i need a starnut? If i maybe had a rad hic shim, the one with a lip on it, i think it would stay in place.

Yeah but would your clamp be super powerful enough to clamp to a shim and the fork? Cause even if you got one with the lip, the bars are only going to clamp to the shim, and the shim will more than likely rotate around the fork tube anyways. Idk, see what someone else says

yea it should work and use the top cap and and starnut and bolt and everything so you don't need a locknut

it will work, it will be just like putting bars on top of threadles forks it works jut makes marks inside of it, and you NEED the starnut and the compression cap+ bolt, thats what compresses it, without it you might as well have no compression at all. and rad HIC shims work the same as any other shim just more conveniently.
