Hot Glued Wheels. Why? How?

i always question this too, hot glue is so soft you can rip the stuff out with a screwdriver.

I guess it make the spokes stronger???, but I use wood glue, its much much harder when it dries

I just did it, and I think it keeps the spokes from vibrating and snapping, and it is HARD to get it out, i cant get em outta my front yak, so i ride a pro whee; in front i got like 1/4 of it out ill have by like 3 days.

but take your bearings out before you do.

one tip, take your time and let the glue get really really hot, dont force it out, it comes out 10 times better because when its hot its can fill up more like a liquid and it will fill in everything instead of coming out shitty. i didnt sand this wheel or anything, this is how it came out.

Shoe-goo works alright aswell. Give that a try if you cant get a hold of hot glue

Haha sick dude, I always hot glue new wheels. Not new Yaks though, because I know the rubber's just gonna poop on itself.

Can someone tell me if epoxy would work. Its a glue that dries like fiber glass and its really hard.

It will work. Pretty much anything that will fill up the gaps in the spokes and give them more support will.
