how 2 say bye to fear

Ok so I have put alot of thought into this our ability to do any trick is like 5% physical and 95% in the brain and you all know what im talking about. We all know how to land the tricks our minds have got to let go of the fear of fail and falling any one have any tips or ideas about how to stop your fears?

Ever since a really bad accident were I messed up my mouth and the whole right side of my face, I've been such a pussy.. I hate it. I'm afraid to fall again

Well if you're thinking about something like a backflip, i think the best thing to do is ask someone that can do it how to bail out of it so you don't freak out upside down if you feel like you might not make the flip

A few months ago i had a lot less fear. Slowly i got more scared, for no reason, but now i try a lot of shit. You just gotta tell yourself to do it or what helps me is "ben stop being a little bitch". And I totally agree, the whole scootering community would be so much better if everyone was like TomK or Issac Miller because a lot of people have the potential but are just scared as hell to try it. Basically you gotta tell yourself like before you get there (the longer before, the better) and say you wont leave until you do that rail or stairset, and then you will be mentally prepared for it and you will probably try it after a few runups

That's my problem. I get into such a comfortable rut as far as learning things, when it gets to the point that I'm just so used to all the tricks I have that I'm afraid to go outside of my comfort zone, it actually helps to just take a break. Come back in a week or two and you won't be as comfortable as you were with all your tricks before, and you might even lose some. But for me, that was the motivation that I needed to start learning new tricks. And once I start learning things, I learn a shitload of things at once because I'm constantly pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Basically, once you start learning new things, don't stop. And if you fall, never just let it go because you'll fuck yourself out of the trick/obstacle you fell on for a long ass time. Get back up and land it.

dont get rid of the fear, embrace it. think for a second, if it was safe to fly over a ramp or a stair set. you wouldnt get anywhere near the rush you do from landing it scared.

Truth is, I get scared to do shit. You just gotta think about like landing it and just be like fuckem, I am doing this shit. I mean really, like there isn't much more to it, just be confident and go for it.
