How to make bar extenders?

Never mind i extended them, what i did was cut a broom stick into a 4 inch peice then cut it in half, so i had two, inch peices of broom handle, then i filed down half of the 2 inch peices so the first half was normal broomstick size, then the other half was filed down to fit inside the t bar, then i did that to both if the two inch peices, then i stuck it into the end of my bars and hammered them into the bars, when it hit the small lip where i had begun to file down, it stopped, so now a half inch is in my bars and a half inch sticks out, so make sure that the wouldnt fall out i put a peice of ducktape around the bar and wood, i dont think it will fall out though its really snug, so thats my way

That's just the wooden dowel method. After a while, the wood will start to shrink, and the extenders will fall out.

that isnt going to stop the wood from shrinking. the tape will just keep the extenders attached to your bars, but it wont stop them from wobbling.

because wood fatigues over time. it just cant handle the pressure.
since wood comes from a tree, it is made up of a bunch of cells which are like little chambers, and after a while, the chambers sort of cave in, making the wood shrink.
