Aluminum does not rust, so no it will not rust unless you have a steel scooter... sandpaper to raw them?

I own SR.
It's actually called "linegraining" when you use sand paper or anything like that to give it a uniform finish or you can bead blast the parts to give them a cloudy/dull/sparkle finish.

If you do it to steel it will rust, aluminum won't.

Yeah i'm letting paint dry n my pro-model right now, just run the sandpaper in one direction to give it a sweet look haha, then wipe it off with a good rag, sray it up and let it dry.

I just sanded it but it doesnt make a huge difference. Does it usually look tottaly raw or does it stay a little shiny. I really dont know...

razor parts already have a brushed finish so all your really doing is taking off the "razor" logo, thats why it doesnt look much different. if you wanted it to look cool, get it sand blasted and then use a tinted satin clearcoat on it and it will look fuckin gnar.

aluminum oxidizes way slower than steel so even if you let it sit for like a month in rain, all your gonna get is a thin whiteish powdery layer.

sand blasted?
most auto body shops do this. its kinda like a paint gun only filled with sand not paint, and its meant to quickly and easily remove and unwanted debris from the surface of the metal (such as paint, rust, body filler, or gooey shit from stickers)
