On November 14th it will have been 2 years since Jake Carney passed away in a car accident. Without him the Chicago scene would virtually be nonexistent. Without him Sky High, Transit 2, the Chicago Street jam, and riders like Tommy Daddano, Jeff Mroz and Justin Lacosse probably wouldnt have happened/been around. So regardless if you knew him or not honor a fallen rider by going out and shredding this wednesday even if its just a few minutes of flat riding. Go Ride For Jake.

he sounds like an amazing rider and guy in general, so sad he died:( he lived a meaningful life! Im making a little edit for jake on the 14th:)

I'll do my best to get out and ride. After this Summer, I have a HUGE respect for the whole Chicago area/Midwest scene.

I wish I could have met him, sounds like he was one hell of a guy.
