if you don't know me, I'm Ryan Upchurch. I like to edit/film/produce scooter/other action sports videos. I have some spare time and I really need to make some money cuz I don't wanna get a real job, and I need to save for a car. so if you would like a video edited then I would be glad to do it for a reasonable amount. I could either film you if you live in delaware, or if you send me clips through aim, i will edit it that way. Thanks. hopefully I'll be in contact with somebody soon. haha

alright, i know i am not the best editor in thwe world, but I'm not gonna sit here and be told i should hire someone else. I'm doing it to make a little extra cash. not to start a full blown editing company. I was just planning on editing videos for a few sr friends here and there. There's kids that edit like 10x times worse than i do, and thats why im here. to help those people, not to help people that already know what theyre doing. and please, feel free to try and down me, it only motivates me more cuz of fags like you. thanks

For an edit to be good you have to get good footage which is something that alot of kids dont know how to do. Time-laspe, creative angles, long lense, bro shots are all things that make an edit good. If some kid sent 20 clips filmed on his moms digital camera it would be a challenge to anybody to make it look presentable. But who knows maybe you can make this work. Good luck

I never said that you were bad at editing at all. Im just saying there is nothing wrong to edit for free or you to pay the client money to edit their videos, not saying you have to do this the whole time. But do it enough to at least get used to the feel of editing for someone and having it a sort of way the client wants it.

Your doing good for the community but just start off for free then once the people know your awesome and do a really good job, you will get some customers. Sorry if you thought i was boing a fag. But i was really trying to help you gain your experience.

Here's an idea. Be a little charitable and start a thread called, "Editing Tips for Making a Legit Video" or some shit like that. Put in whatever you would do with a video. Maybe get Sam to contribute cause he's like a editing god and make a new sticky. That would be perfect. Then whoever wants to know how to legitly make a well edited video can.

but i guess I'll do some videos for free to start, just to put some examples out. because not many people have seen my editing recently. not when i actually try. so as of now i'll accept some requests for free editing.
