inside gussets

so yesterday i was thinking how to put gussets on my alu 1 pieces.... my idea is get a smaller tude to stick inside your crossbar but only half the size of you crossbar. u cut small slits in your crossbar then you hammer the tude in and weld it or just not weld it.
anyway i now someone else prodly thought of this before i just want to know wat you think

Well, that won't work for sure, because nobody has ever done anything like that, not even on something simple like a fork. Sarcasm. It will work, as long as it is a tight fit, but you could solve that with a thinker wall.

i like my better and gussets look bad dont get me wrong i think its all about strentch. and nickd im making alumimun 1 pieces because i have the metal i love crom 1 pieces. u think alu 1 pieces will bend??? u ride a f-cking new a i ripped the floldy of my new a

steel ftw!
and yea i think ur idea would work its like doin it with a fork, it wont help it from breaking it will help it from bending i think, but i dont understand what ur talkin about by cutting slits in the crossbar why would u need to do that if the reinforcemnt tube goin in the crossbar is smaller diameter than the crossbar

ok dude my new a is beat to sh-t thats y im making a custom deck that will last me a while. If i take just a few more hard landings then them something will break. my drop outs are bent to shit and so is my foldy. The only reason it's lasting is because i've been taking it easy lately.

aluminum sucks for one piece, unless it is reallly thick a u reinforce the crap out of it... i broke my .125 in a week

your a tool. some retard noob at my park made alu one pieces and sold them to everyone and they all bent and snapped in like...a week or less but for the reinforcement idea i say get new bars

either way it doesent matter, the base metal is still the same you will just waste more filler patching it up if you want it to be the same size.

otherwise youre wasting your time.
