Ipod in pool

Alright, I was in a pool for about 5 minutes and then I realized I had my ipod in my pocket. (dumbass) So I took it out and dried it and tried to turn it on about 20 times. Am I screwed? (And the worst part is that I had Anarky 2 on it!!) :( Does anyone know how to fix it?

buy a new ipod? and you hopefully have Anarky 2 saved on your computer. i doubt you can fix it without sending it to Apple.

it's f*ked. Me & Margaret went to see Vampire Weekend in central park, and it was pouring the whole time, so my ipod got filled with water and died. and considering you went in a pool which has lots of chemicals in it, it's definately not fixable.

Alright... I bought a new ipod, got all my songs, vids, and everything else back on it. So I found my old broken ipod so I'm like eh lets just plug it in my ihome. The f***ing thing turns on!!! But there's some water in the screen but it still works perfect. And my old earphones still work... So, ya... Greg, don't buy a new one yet, wait awhile then buy one..

Lol, my best friend has left his phone outside in the rain for numerous days and just let it dry and it worked fine.
