Mine came in the mail today, and i must say, im really impressed. Besides all the custom KC work he sent me 4 Trick Kick Scooters stickers, 2 razor ones, a bunch of TKS business cards, and im happy yay!
so far,
Pros -barends, they help alot with the barspins.
-griptape job is super nice, and also there was an extra sheet of the stock grip in there
-bolts and stuff were all right there and he sent tools which made it really easy to assemble
-Anything at all he took off the scooter, he still gave to me, such as folding mech parts... and junk.
-Just an all around clean looking/feeling scoot at this point.
-Came with RVM2
-Signed the outside of the box like 100000 times haha, but didnt sign the scooter itself, could it be something i said? lol
Cons -"professianally tuned headset" I know its stock but it doesnt seem he found the balance between fast and shaky.. its not shaky and slow.. can be fixed very easily with minor tinkering.
Things i question - what does the front piece do? on the front of the folding mech, KC seemed to think it wasn't important so he took it off
- He filed out the back of the headset... like where the extra bolt goes, mine have always fit fine why did this one not fit well?
The things i changed or am going to change:
1) mess with headset to make it spin a little better if possible
2) one grip was moved over and it annoyed me so i moved it back lol
3) Stock wheels to yaks
4) Had to install bolts
5) Stock bearings to mine
6) Take off warning stickers haha
7) T-Tube clamp gets changed out for bolt.
8) Reinforcement plates should be coming in the mail tomorrow so im going to practice on old pro and then if i get it right do it to the KC signature
9) Thats it. Keep in mind that looks like a big list but all (except deck reinforcement) are all really minor things.
Overall, it is a great scooter and i definately recommend you all buying one. Really solid and worth the buy.
