Learning time for Tailwhips.

How long did it take you guys to learn tailwhips. Its been two months and I still havent landed one. I am getting pretty much all the other tricks. Barspins, 180's, Fakies, 360's.

I can get the whip almost perfect. When I actually jump with the scooter I cant get them.

about three days. u need to learn because its a building block on a ton of tricks. just try a kicker

Well, i was on and off trying tailwhips.... like i would try it one day and not even try it for a whole two months. and then i would try it again sooo, Once i actually stuck to trying it, and didnt give up it took about a week. (Using a Ramp)

i had the whip just like you so well but i couldnt land it. i went to the park for a while and just kept tryin and tryin. i then tried it on a pyramid and got it really well. then i went and i could get them flat. i think it was that i was really loose/pumped and i now knew like the feeling/what to look for in landing it. haha plus i really didnt wanna get an s for not being able to whip in SCOOT. i would just try a pyramid. and once you get them. GET THEM DIALED. i got mine and kind of neglected them, like i was stoked i could but i didnt keep at them and get them dialed. so about a week later i was doin them and they were all so sketchy, but after about an hour i had them. just once you get them do not stop them keep at it.

hope i helped :) and good luck. you will be so stoked when you get them

Omg this thread is so stupid.
Just focus on tailwhips, it seriously is really strayed when it comes to time to learn stuff.
My friend Nick could'nt land them and neither could I but we helped each other and then once I started landing them in a couple days he could, its alot easier when you are competing against someone. :)

Yeah, i'm the same way. Does anyone have any tips on how to land them? My problem is i can't keep my feet in the air long enough. I can get it around okay though.

i have the same problem as connornub when it comes to flat, but i just had a major operation cus i needed an ankle reconstruction and i started riding again like 2 months (i couldnt get them before the operation) and now i can get them like 30% of the time 2 feet and 100% 1 foot off a ramp
