before i post anything else i'm just gonna say the light metal scooters thing is a joke lol, i have no intention of calling this the light metal scooter.

Extra info, well the headtube is a bit steeper than stock, i did this on purpose because i hate the way stock leans into me. and im getting bigger bars soon.
the only stock parts are the bottom headset cup and the break
my reinforced (angle aluminium) stock deck weighed 2.1kg with headtube, this weighed 1.6kg
but don't worry, outer walls are 3.2mm thick, inner walls are 6.4mm thick
Dropout spacers are not used, instead it takes wheel spacer where the dropout spacers would go
the deck is 4" wide, 3mm wider than a stock deck
fits a stock axel. with a spacer either side
it's one piece, it's sweeeet!

Looks pretty sick, only thing that I see having problems is where the neck meets the deck, seems like you might wanna put a gusset there or something. Still really awesome, one of the best custom decks I've seen.

Edit: Elaborate on the brake, would ya? Cause I'm kinda lost on how the pin's going in there.

In case you didn't see my edit, how's the brake secured in there?
yes well
theres 2 side's to the deck
the one you see above with no vissible hole
and the left side pictured below
holezomg.jpg

if you look through the hole this is what you see.
screwhead.jpg

a screw head :O

how it works is you put the spanner through the right hand rear end(pictured below) and grab the nut
you then put a screw driver/allen key (depending on wich type of bolt you have
) through the hole on the left side, and just tighten away
nut.jpg

this means i dont have to have a hole on both sides, and there for dont have to weakin both sides, it also looks a bit cleaner

Nice rig, although...

- How is it possible to be a one-piece deck if it has the side rails BOLTED on?

- You know about welding stresspoints on bars, so use that knowledge on your deck next time you make another one.
