thats mostly older like 80's metal, but all good!

metal is a genre that has never gotten too much respect. metal heads are typically thought of as stupid people with long hair. which is total bullshit. metal is more technical and intricate than most other genres. in order to truly appreciate metal, i believe you must see a metal band live. it can completely change ones outlook.

If you're looking for epic/black metalish stuff. Check out Becoming The Archetype. They have awesome stuff. Great solos and vocals.

Too much vocals? Hmm. I don't notice that much of difference in the amount of vocals. But whatever it's cool. Becoming The archetype has three CDs and they are all sound different but are still black/death metal. Amon Amarth is reall good. I love that sound.

Sean.. I love you for saying that <3 get Between the Buried and Me's albums Colors and also Alaska.. Takes a while to get used to since they are a progressive metal band but they are so original unlike most bands
