i was riding and my friends were talking about KY warming jelly.... and i thought well that is lub, but not for bearings.... but i was just a little curious so i made a mixture. Ky, laundry deturgent, brake fluid, and oil.... all i have to say is it reallllyyyy works..... expecially for headset bearings....

??? probally wallgreens.... here is the amounts of luquid. get a small tuna can, fill it 1/4 of the way [or to the top of the bearing] with KY, then put in 3 tsp. of deturgent [the liguid kind] a splash of oil and brake fluid..... and u good to go fast

uhhh.. im pretty sure that most of those lubricants are water-based, which isnt good for your headset. so i wouldnt do that before double checking what its made out of.

frankly im a little concerned by this thread.

and yeah, water based BUTTSHECKS type lubricant is not what you want for you bearings. especially when mixed with all that other shit. its not good for them and its expensive and will eventually get all bad. use wd40 for cleaning and as a light/thin lube, motor oil as a general lube and heavy grease for smooth lower speed things like headsets.

Sounds like you must have lots of this stuff lying around. Personally i go to my locale adult wholesaler and buy tubs of anal lube.
