Master + pupils

There's an interesting scheme of scooter riding in some places. It involves a good rider that has been riding for a long time and progressed slowly cause he didnt have anyone to ride with, and some others that have been riding way shorter but the're progressing crazy fast. The typical examples are Brandon Kilbury's crew or the RAD crew, where KC passed his role of the 'master' to Cary when he moved to Florida. What do you think about it? To me it shows how riding with someone thats better than you helps to progress, but sometimes it looks kinda unfair... like for example Brandon Kilbury has been struggling to learn flat triples for months, then comes Tyler Hale and does them effortlessly.

Riding with bmx'ers is good too I think, because they make you think of things you normally wouldn't think of. At The Wedge there're always bikers flowing the bowl and they've showed me pretty much all the lines in there.

eh tyler did learn flat triples faster than i ever did, but he only did a few of them, and he quit. but ive thought about this before and how i had nobody to show me anything when i was learning stuff, nobody to push me or anything or tell me tips for tricks..levon and tyler started after i was already pretty good so a lot of tricks i could help them with

well this spring i found a rider who started riding with me... lately he learned a whip so he has a LITTLE progress... Today we both learned whips he's regular, i'm goofy, he learnt regular but i learned switch so he and me in switch are both terrible. But thanks to that, today i learned switch whips.

i tought ppl to 360, tailwhip, and jump stairs and stuff. i tought this one kid that could barly 180 to 360 flat in like 5 mins. i tought my little brother to doublewhip and 540 this tiny street bank qiuk. it took me like acouple months to 360 and like 7 months to doublewhip. so it does help alot. i just wish i had someone to teach me stuff.
