I would go. Even if you don't hit up parks or find spots, it's always fun to cruise around places you've never been.

Go hit up the plaza in Geelong. Haven't been there but it looks sick as fuck. Seen it in a couple of skate mags a while ago and I've wanted to go ever since.
Go during a school/working day though cause skaters be hating.

I guess just be chill and cool and most of them are alright. Can't speak for them Victorians though. It's a pretty popular place too from what I've gathered so that kind of sucks.
