Mouthguards

What's your opinion on wearing them? Ive seen bikers, especially those not wearing full face helmets using them. Ive never had anything like a faceplant, but I guess that some of you have suffered some sort of dental damage and thus, a mouthguard would be recommended. I don't know if you can talk wearing one though, and I guess that someone might say that you would 'look gay' with them. What do you think about it?

i dont wear one...i definatley respect ppl who do because they are smart...scotty cranmer wears one now because he prolly has like all fake teeth lol

well i dont wear one. i probably never will unless i come close to knocking my teeth out a few times. but im not really a faceplant kinda guy, im more of a falling on my hands/ass/knees kinda guy.

i tryed ridind with it and its just a bit annoying
plus i almost choked on it when i crashed

i dont wear 1, because i normally dont land on my face, just my ass knee and hands. and yes u cant talk for shit with 1 on, i no because when i used to play rugby i had to wear 1.

I pretty much wear one every time I ride now. I've chipped like 4 teeth in the front and knocked one loose before and I'm pretty over doing that again.

P.S. - I fall on my face.

well lets see i landed on my face about 4 months ago knoced 11 of them so they were leaning strait back and i chipped in half my 8 front teeth so very reccomented
but i still dont wear them my teeth hurt so much now i hope i get fake teeth

i could see it being more usefull in football or hockey becuase scootering if u no what ur doing u atleat try to avoide falling on ur face i ball sports on bad slip or one person misses the ball it could hurt specialy if ur not wearing a helmet in ither of those sports lol

I recommend wearing mouth guards around john and in his front yard. He tried to backhand a flag and ended up backhanding me in the face, lol. Chipped my front tooth
