it is stock and i got it with a pro model 2 months ago when it was still cold here. the greeze froze in my headset i guess causing it to make a wierd noise and does not spin well. i dont have tools riht now to take off and clean it so if i stuck it in front of a heater that goes to 85 degreees and kept spinning it would it lossen up and be better ?

WD40 won't ruin it, just put some WD40 on the bearings so they can spin, then clean them off with a towel, then put regular grease on it.

If it is simply cold grease it will happen with any headset, probably worse with a sealed one actually. If you got water in there and it's rust then a sealed would fix the problem.
