Haha Mr. Technical here?? How the hell are they gonna break off? The pressure is mostly downward I.E Not trying to rip the crossbar off the gussets. I'd say if the welds are good then they'd be fine. Only problem you may have is bending but the design should be more resistant that a standard "T" style bar. I just wouldn't buy em cause of the look.

Ummm, those gussets give like what, half an inch of actual reinforcement?
Like they only go half inch down the crossbar, and they go like 4 inches down the bars?
You may aswell just weld little squares into the corners of your bars.
Besides, those gussets arnt gonna do shit except add weight and make you look like the biggest dero ever.

I think the majority of people on this site have no idea about Steel or welding metallurgy. The welds on the crossbar is taking hardly any pressure to tear the actual weld and the ones on the main steerer tube are like 90-100mm long... If the welds are even half decent there's no way they'll rip the welds off before the crossbar bends.
