carbon fiber would be extremly expensive but way better. Imagine a scooter deck that feels like plastic but is stronger than steal. Carbon fiber is better than titanium.

i wouldnt quite say that. cf is stronger in a certain perspective, pound for pound most definatly, but lateral stregnth (the kind a deck would need) in cf isnt that great.CaptianCrash44 said:

carbon fibre is only strong in one direction, so really wouldn't work for any areas on a scoot plus no one on here has the skills to use it i don't think

ive tried it before but only on small stuff with carbon fiber my dads friend had laying around and even then if you want it to work well and not flake it had to b vaccuum sealed then baked. and you shouldnt use the house oven or else stuff would taste weird after that so you would have to get another oven and it just seems too much just for a pair of light bars or deck that will snap anyway.

There is/was a carbon fiber scooter for you guys that dont know..
Mark Atkins was riding it in NBS4. I herd they have their goods and bads. I herd its really weird to whip since its so light, the head tube breaks and i dont really know the stength of the deck. I think you can still buy them off Ali.

i remeber watching nbs4 and when he dropped off the roof i cant remeber if a tailwhip was in that but whatever when it snapped it made a different sound than say an aluminum one would then i sorta looked into it. But yeah it depends what you do it would be a really good scooter for park flow but i wouldnt recommend it for like big trick or street.

I could get Ti, but it's expensive as hell. I almost let some homie to make me a stem out of Ti, and the whole work would have cost like over 100$. Btw Ti is as strong as steel but it weighs 42% less than steel.

i have wanted one for sooo long, has anyone got one they want to sell/know where i could buy one, i know it would be shit and break but meh i don't care!!
