Randolph, New Jersey
This is a real mellow outdoor park set-up. Half pyramid with rail on the flat and down one side. Tabletop, couple quarterpipes, a mini ramp, a kinked rail cemented into the ground, and a box. The floor is blacktop, good traction even when it's wet cuz it's only 2 years old. All of the stuff was bought from Arc, which is one of those companies that sells ramps and boxes and shit that you just have to put together. So everything is basically perfect over there, no home-made stuff (no love either ) No launches of any kind (flyboxes, launch ramps etc).
The park is really popular with little kids, so head for a morning sesh. If you show up at noon or later it's gonna be packed. On a weekend, forget about it unless its in the morning. You can try a night session, but there aren't any lights.
The park used to be membership only, but now it seems no one cares. The whole thing is fenced in, but the door on the fence is never locked, so you can ride any time of day. Every once in a blue moon (2 times in 2 years for me) a guy will come and look for your membership passes. He'll call the cops if you don't leave cuz you don't have one.
All that aside, this is basically a rider-run park. Skateboarder, Inliners, BMXers (though it's a small park so not many BMX kids show up, ever), and of course, Scooter riders are all welcome. Just don't be an asshole and you're fine. I got directions if you want.
