Old B brake on a RUP V2

I cant seem to get it on I spent over an hour trying to put it on its not working. Should I just go ahead and order a new brake.

Yeah if it's the bolt not fitting through then take a vice ad clamp down on the spring to make it a bit smaller then try putting it through all brakes should fit dude
