PAINT

Ive never painted a scooter. What coating should I use before the color? How should I paint it? I want it to last as long as possible.

Thank you.

I did it like this:
sadn
paint 1st coat
paint 2nd coat
paint 3rd coat
paint 4th coat
*draw on the parts with paint markers*
2 coats of clear paint...

Holds pretty good...

I got myself banned.
-sand
-primer
-primer
-paint
-paint
-clear
-maybe 2nd clear

I dont see a point in sanding multiple times after you painted like Ben said...

be careful not to go to heavy with the paint tho unless you like to keep everything at the same spot for a while. if not don't go to heavy it makes it a lot harder to move things. i found out the hard way and i couldn't move my bars to the spot i wanted cause the paint was to heavy.

i need help. ive painted my break, headtube and deck. and ive just put laquer on BUT on the break and headtube the paints kinda cracked and on all three you can still rub the paint off with your nail.

just so u know you dont need clear coat unless it is a non glass paint. any gloss spray paint has clear in it and clearing that paint will just make the paint look foggy.
