Painting Scooter

I don't care about the people who think it is gay, this thread isn't for you. How do you paint your scooter? And tips or tricks would be grand.

pay spray paint (and primer if desired)
take off wheels and grips (or diassemble the whole thing if you want to do a really good job)
spray (primer if you bought it let it dry then spray paint)
wait till dry
assemble and enjoy

yeah what chris said.. i think 2 colors looks better.. like doing the clamps and stuff one color and tubes the other... but if you want it to look nice take care of the scooter because it chips easy

I had the ugliest headset a while ago that Tim gave me... it was like spraypainted brown and it was SO damn ugly

I also had a black T-tube thing, that looked pretty badass while it lasted

The Rad Scooters group up in WA all paint their scooters. It's rad and such. I might paint a scooter later on if I get around to it. If you want the paint to last, I would suggest auto body paint instead of spray paint. Doesn't scratch off as easily is you primer it and put a clear coat over it. My buddy and I used to do that to our motorized scooter frames all the time.
