I hate flages just becuase they look stupid no matter what (my opinion) wide, short, geussts, whatever. Scooters don't have brake levers no need for them, if anything I think they get in the way for bar spins and other tricks. For me when I hold my grips I hold them at the very end so my hands are as far apart as posssible but, if I was to ride flages I'd ride em' with dounuts :)

On stock bars then yes, they will stop you from landing bars on the ttube bit. But as corey said theres no point in them on scoots.

there are good on wider bars but on short bars when youve got 2 flanges dead close, nearly touching each other it looks silly

also they help prevent your hand sliding into the bolts on seatposts

whats your logic for that? it looks really dumb when theres all this bar and then theres a big ring in the middle. and wouldn't it get in the way of barspins? seems dumb to me.

Flanges, with donuts, are sick. As long as the bars are 16 or less than there sick. Anything past 16 and flanges get gay. And if you claim they keep your ands off the seat post, just practice catching your bars on your grips. Really concentrate on it. Watch them and stuff.

my logic is that its more like on a bmx, it looks more natural were as if you have shortbars, the flanges are dead close and it looks silly.
