Is there USUALLY a lot of snow where i live? Yes.
Did i had any snow this year? No, but it finally started to snow yesterday. Winters are being late and late.
Btw, snow usually stops you from riding street, even though you can wipe out the snow off the street, the ground may still stay wet and that way you can fuck up your wheels and bearings.
All the winter scene just pushes most of us to ride indoor parks or just go on a pause if there's no way to ride anywhere.
Third option for winters is to ride ski-scooters, which obviously need enough snow and some hills to ride on. We don't have enough yet. I hope i'll get at least one weekend with a lot of snow so i could go on a second attempt to clear that big-air box at the forest nearby.

well it finally has been snowing pretty well here. It has not stopped me from riding though, as I have been messing around in the basement. Its not much though. But i have built a snowboard jump and stuff, thats fun. I want a snow scooty but I suck at making stuff, and I don't have the resources.
And lets see how you feel scooting in 15 degree weather, its not so fun, esp. if you mess up on a barspin haha.

he have over 6 inches where i live.. and the only day my local park lets us in is monday and saturday..but its a 45 minute drive..eww

last year we didnt get more than an inch of snow until late march. this year we keep getting about 6 inches every three weeks and its annoying. I guess not having a scooter right now at least doesn't make me as desperate

we usually get 100 inches of snow per year. this year we got snow in like the second week of october. it was crazy. buffalo was shut down for like 2 weeks haha. people boiling their water and shit. anyway, then global warming kicked in. I think we only ever had a few inches of snow all december... just a little near the beginning but the average temp was probably like 40 or 50 haha. Then january has been warm too besides the past week or 2. During that time its been snowing like crazzy and its good times. Hasn't stopped me at all because ive been hanging out with different people lately..... one of my friends has a big garage and lots of wood/screws and we make sick ghetto setups like every day. And theres also a 6' pipe in the top of a barn in the next town over. One of my friends who bmx's calls me to go up and ride that more now. I got some decent pics from the day i went up there so i will probably post them..... Thats all. lol

In my region there is not enough snow for snowboarding or ski-scooting (well, I actually haven't got any of them), but there is too much of it to ride street. Finally our government had decided to create a skatepark, but when I came to that this sunday building, the door was closed. I felt like a total loooooser, cause it took me 1,5 hours to get there only to discover that it was out of service.
It is hard for me to realise that almost everyone here rides and progresses in parks in winter while I am sitting here and suck.

i understand your situation is worse than mine but damn i feel you man its sooooo gay, i dont even have any dry flatground at all like a garage etc like all the americans (generalisation) but meh watever it'll be dry soon, well within next two months (maybe..?)
