[poll] Will scootering ever be big again?

Hmm.. wont let me submit to the poll, personally as long as we still have the riders and they dont die out, i think it will get big, but not in the same way as it was, before it was big for the reason it was a good transport device now i think it will get big from the riders for being an extreme sport. Well from what the sport was two-three years ago, to now i think it will be big, my opinion, anyone with me?

i say yes but it will take time and there will always be people taking the piss that will never stop but there is no reason why it can't go huge
Its getting bigger and bigger every year without stop. There are so many people who ride here now and some of them are getting soooo good. I say time will be kind to this sport

i don't think so, i think we'll turn out like unicycling and extreme ironing.
somewhat known sports, but not practiced by most.
i think that skateboarding, bmx, and inline have unique senses of style, and we won't be able to achieve awesome looking ness like them. =/

yea i doubt it will happen, but it COULD get big again. scootering has alot of potential, we just need more of the riders to release it.

If we had as many riders as rollerbladers did, we would for sure be bigger than them because they get made fun of at skateparks as well. It's their numbers that help keep them stronger. Same with bmx and skateboarding. They have so many good riders scattered around the globe making it easier for people to get them recognized, etc. Scootering doesn't have as many riders, so it is difficult to get it recognized, unless you see at least one decent rider per park, it's not gonna happen anytime soon...

Even though it gets bigger and bigger every year it will never get as big as skateboaring or biking. As much as I would like it too, I highly doubt scootering will never become a big thing again.

it depends on what you think is big. i doubt we will ever be as big as bmx or skateboards, but there will always be more ppl starting up. (as shown by all the newbies joining SR!)

yeah i think it could get big maybe not big enough for lik x games but if we keep having comps. and stuff like that i can see it getting bigger. idk.

I think it will be in the x games at some point. I bet if we got enough people to ask then it might be.

I think it would be done best in the park and not vert. no one has really axplored vert.

I was at school with my PSP watching some of the scootering vids I have on it. And was watching Brian Boston's Mini vid 2 and then some of my friends (and some of the guys who didnt know doing tricks on a scooter was possible) sawthe part where he does, a bri flip whip of the ramp onto the Platform, everyone thought that was AMAZING and they were all asking me questions about it and stuff and I think some people really got interested in scootering, But still theres no scootering business in Ireland, so I dunno if anyone will go out and buy a scooter (or all the trouble I went to to get my Pro model), mod it (like I did) and start.
