For those of you who don't know, a .gif is any images strung together to create a looping 'video' so to speak.
This is only an example.
Here is a tutorial on how to post .gifs to your favorite message boards and/or blogs.
1. There is generally a HTML code that a blog will use, make sure you are somewhat familiar with it. For SR you use brackets and capital letters. (These are brackets [ ] <--) It would look like this [.IMG][/IMG] (Erase the period at the beginning). You could also click the picture icon up on the icon tray.
2. To get the URL to put in between the HTML code, go to the image you wish to insert and right click it, look for the option called "Copy image URL". Select this and paste it in between the HTML codes.
3. (OPTIONAL) If you wish to re-size your image or .gif, before you post make a space at the end of the HTML code and put Height=XXX Width=YYY, it should look something like this. [.IMG]http://ImageURLGoesHere.com/Imagename.gif[/IMG]. Again, take the period out at the beginning, otherwise it will not work.

This is a handy way of expressing yourself trough a forum post, and there are even .gif makers out there that will make .gifs out of YouTube videos. Here are a few of my favorites that i have found over my time on different forums.
