yea i know this has been brought up and i looked for it already to bump but couldnt find it
so yea y dont we get that pro section and noob section thing again
i wasnt on here when there was one
but i know it deffinately make a lot of people happy because im tired of listening to a bunch of people ask stupid questions

i dunno about it cos some people who arnt exactly pros and arnt noobs are going to have to have gay noobs posting pointless threads in their section and there not going to be happy

I think what would be best is to have a subforum called "questions" all noobs would see that and automaticly ask in there.

I'd get really tired seeing how noobs would try to get to pro section, so i think the whole case is just about bragging rights.

hahaha

and besides theres too many people to decide who should be pro or not. and alot of yous that think you should be in pro would get all pissy if you got stuck with the noobs.

I voted no, for many reasons.

I wasn't around when SR was in Pro/Noob sections, but trust me, I've read enough old threads to tell that it was a bad idea. Nearly every thread turned into people arguing because somebody posted in the Pro forums and it just gets ugly. We certainly don't need that.

Another reason is because it basically segregates the "good" riders from the "bad riders". In a way, it makes noobs inferior to the advanced riders. It makes us unequal. And when the equality of a community is compromised than the community itself can be split apart. I know it sounds stupid, but its just like slavery. If you know your history than you'll know, when slavery was still legal back in the early 1800s the nation was split, slave states vs. free states. And of course, this lead to the Civil War. That is not the kind of thing SR needs.

And I also think the people placed in the noob section would always be complaining. There would be argument about where to draw the line between pro and noob.

So yeah, I think if SR was split again it COULD cause it's demise, but I don't think that would happen, because of our faboulous admin and mods.

just my 2 cents
so yeah
