Problem taking madd gear headset off

I am trying to take off my madd gear headset to replace it with a threadless one. I've tried a screw driver and hammer for about 15 minutes but it didn't even budge. Is there another way to remove the headset without using the fancy tools?

me i just use a pin punch and a hammer and hit it really hard make sure to do it evenly side by side and the bottem cup will be a challenge.

spray some wd-40 on it and let it seep in and then try like 15 minutes later.

i tried without wd-40 and i got it off in like 10 minutes.

just fucking do it.

kidding, but make sure when you hit it hit it with fucking balls. But what would be easier is take the top one out first (like x10 times easier to take out) then find an old pair of standard size bars you don't want, and slide them in the ht and hit that. should work better than a screw driver.

I tried wd-40 and hammered at it for about 5min and didn't budge, let the wd-40 sit for atleast 15 min. Any other ideas?

Get a tube that isnt to thick and will fit inside the headtube, and lean it sideways so it is touching one of the cups, and then hammer it.
