question on slayer bars

well i was wondering if like lets just say if you ordered 15 inch wide bars, would bmx grips be too long and hit the Y part? juust wondering because i like 15 wide but not if grips arent going to fit

15 is the minimum width for them for bmx grips to fit, but some bmx grips are really long, so idk.
