Question with HIC

i ride scs at the moment, and wanted to try out HIC
but only thing stopping me is apprently bars snap easy from slits.
or is it just some peoples slits are way too long or is it just all a rumor kinda thing? please let me know haha.

thanks.

If you want to run hic safely..get a fork with a pretty long fork tube and make sure its strong. Than get a bigger than normal hic shim. It will only be strong if the fork/shim combo goes over the slits in the bars. A strong clamp that covers the slits will make it stronger too.

i was thinking about the scooterzone hic and apex forks!
apex forks are strong, there not very long though :/ there inbetween smx and phoenix forks.

Forktube length is irrelevant.

Just cut a 2mm wide slit slightly shorter than the clamp you're going to use. That's all you need.
