Jason Beggs model
$369.99 is a steep VERY steep price for a bone stock scooter, as good as the razor looks. With $370 to spend I could make a pretty decent scooter. I've ridden the wheels (or at least the latest public model) and they're smooth as can be. This should be a good all around scooter.
The John Radtke model:
I like the paint job but the taper looks.. well, interestingly done. (I'm assuming the forks are threadless, if they aren't i'm going to find something to punch.) I really hate to say this but costing just $10 less than the beggs model and having T bars is a weird combination. But I'm just being an ass. I don't see the point of having bars come tapered when they can easily and cheaply just make the whole thing oversized and stop being weight weenies.
The 2012 Ultra pro (Or as I call it, "finally razor does something right" model):
Finally Razor removes their cranium from their bowels and realizes people wanted wider bars at a normal height, because most extreme riders don't ride their bars at chin height. The wheels look nice, it has a threaded headset/fork and normal sized bars from what I can tell (I think 21x18 or something.) regular brake and metalcores, Oh and they chopped the back drop outs. Ski riders beware, razor hates you.
Another model of ultra pro to be released next year. I shall dub it the "We gave a 13 year old a couple hundred dollars and this is the result":
UNNECESSARILY weird bars, with backsweep? Yeah, backsweep. on T bars. Personal opinion = no bueno. Well, I think it has backsweep. Looks like it.
a threaded fork, headset, and standard sized bars shall keep me from buying this for sure. I wish they would make an ultra pro with a threadless fork/headset/oversized Razor bars/metalcores but not costing $350+
Just my thoughts.
